ECO-Friendly Marina Bay
This press release confirms the Marina bay sands BCA Green Mark Gold Award. This award compliments the green Eco-Friendly ability of the building and describes the various ways that architects and engineers designed the structure to be as environmentally friendly as possible. The Marina bay sands was built by the Las Vegas Sands Corp. using their ECO360° global sustainability strategy.

The Marina bay sands employs a number of techniques to improve its Eco-friendly qualities. Firstly, using various light shading techniques, such as vertical fins, specially designed light reflecting convex and concave roofs the building constantly reflects heat in a very hot and humid climate, reducing the need for air conditioning. Despite this, the design still make use of the abundance of natural light, reducing the need for energy inefficient lights.
